On Thursday afternoon, F8 put up some of the birdboxes received by the school as part of the Borders Birdbox Project. This is an ongoing project, developed by Mr Rawson, to give each of the 60 prep/primary schools in the Scottish Borders x10 birdboxes over a 3 year period.

The Borders Birdbox Project, supported by the Nineveh Charitable Trust and Tweed Forum, has delivered 200 birdboxes so far to 20 primary schools. This year's Form 8 helped develop the birdbox design used in Environmental Studies classes last year when they were Form 7s.

While each group put up their birdboxes, the others enjoyed some quiet reading in the sunshine.

Well done to all involved.
