St. Mary's Families Join Great Borders River Clean

On the weekend of 25th and 26th April, St. Mary's families joined hundreds of others at the second Great Borders River Clean.

453 people (and counting) cleaned 2,050kg of rubbish from rivers in 30 towns and villages across the region. We were absolutely delighted to see the number of people willing to sacrifice their precious free time to help tackled the massive problem of plastic pollution.

Despite the snow and storms, hundreds of people turned out in their villages and towns to both clear rubbish from their rivers and burns and to help highlight this problem.

Thank you so much to all those amazing people!
