Friday night - boarding fun at Archery in Selkirk
Last Friday the form 7 and 8’s helped set up for Saturday’s BGTB. After a pizza tea we headed to Borderghost for an archery session. After a competition for the highest score, the boarders got to shoot at pictures of the staff pinned on the targets!

Monday 23rd September
Monday night saw a team quiz with questions about the World Cup, photo caption, questions about St. Mary’s and a quick fire round of dingbats.

Tuesday 24th September
There was a whole range of indoor activities on Tuesday night as the rain poured outside… lip balm making, dodgeball in the pre-prep gym, music practice and drawing in the Art Room before settling down to watch the Great British Bake Off.

Wednesday 25th September
Borders’ Got Talent 2019 took part on Wednesday night with acts ranging from gymnastics to the tenor horn, rapping to bottle flips, ‘Mock the Teachers’ and a Faulty Towers sketch. With an appearance by Simon Cowell and Amanda Holden, the judges scored each act and in 1st place, Imo won with a spectacular dance routine, in 2nd Place, Esmee on her cello and in 3rd position,  the form 5 girls with their choreographed gymnastic display! It was a great night and lots of fun was had by all.

Thursday 26th September
Thursday night saw one of this term’s first Warhammer sessions as Orks and Blood Angels battled it out on the Art Room tables. Meanwhile,   there was football on the All Weather, crafts in the Art Room and ICT in the Hamilton.
