A slick start saw us dominate proceedings in the match against Loretto, with 9 goals to 1 after 10 minutes, it was decided to give Mabel and Skye a turn at shooting and move Cadence and Tiggy to defence. Sophie took over from Emily and Kate from Anna; Freyja stayed in the centre to keep some sense of ‘normality’. Loretto fought back but even in our new positions we were a little too strong and won the game 13-1.

Taken completely off guard we were soon 4-0 down against Cargilfield, this was not expected as we had beaten them 19-6 early on in the season! At half time we had managed 2 goals but they had 6. I asked the girls to slow the game down and focus on accurate passing. They listened! Eight goals to Cargilfield’s 4 ensure we maintained our unbeaten season with a score of 10-10 at full time.
