The cold didn’t put these girls off today, there was determination particularly towards the end  which was brilliant to witness.  It was slightly disappointing to have only  4 goals scored by both teams at half time, the  opportunities were there, but not the accuracy.  Our  skill level and confidence went up a gear however,  going into the last two quarters ( perhaps this had something to do with the side line support!) St Mary’s worked  far harder as a team, winning more centre passes and controlling the pace of the ball. Combined team goals in this half was 13, that’s more like it!
